In support of Volunteer Alexandria’s 2022 community toy and book drive, DASH is encouraging the community to help serve children and families this holiday season by donating new, unwrapped books, toys and games suitable for children 0 to 4 years old until December 15.
The donated items will be distributed to children in need in the Alexandria community and help support the City of Alexandria’s Holiday Sharing, Domestic Violence and the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority programs.
Toys and book can be donated to any of the public drop-off locations.
Funds can also be donated directly to The Fund for Alexandria’s Child Holiday Sharing Program and to Volunteer Alexandria.
