• Adult Body Parts Aerobics
  This is a low impact aerobics class designed to increase endurance, strengthen muscles, and improve flexibility. This free class meets on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm. For additional information call 703.746.5550.
  
• Strength & Cardio
  This class provides circuit strength & cardio exercises designed for women done to music. Class consists of a variety of cardio & strength stations beginning and ending with warm-ups and stretching. This free class meets on Thursdays from 7-8 pm. For additional information call 703.746.5550.

City Sponsored Sport Leagues 

Eligibility & Registration Requirements: Adult Sports Leagues are formed by team registrations, not by individual registrations. Each adult league has a limited amount of available space for teams. Teams registering prior to the established deadline date for each sport league will be accepted, up to the maximum number of teams per league. Teams will only be accepted after the posted deadline date if space is available. All adult sport league activities are divided by skill levels and play week nights.  Please call the Adult Sports Office to be placed on the Adult Sports Registration mailing list, or if you are an individual looking to be placed on the players list at 703.746.5409.

League Fees: Team fees are charged for each sport activity. In addition to the league fees, a nonresident fee of $25 will be charged to each nonresident player on the official team roster. For additional information  call 703.746.5409 or email marvin.elliott@alexandriava.gov.

• Fall 2010 Soccer, Softball and Volleyball Registration Information 
• NEW! Indoor Coed Soccer League 
  The Adult Sports Office will be offering a new Indoor Coed Soccer League on weekends beginning this fall. The league will consist of a one division league with seven teams. Sportsmanship

Mid-Atlantic Recreation and Parks Sports Alliance (MARPSA)
The City of Alexandria along with a number of other local jurisdictions is a proud member of the MARPSA organization. The purpose of the MARPSA is to develop and communicate a consistent message that organizations and their players, coaches and spectators will be held accountable to a code of conduct that promotes sportsmanship and keeps recreational competitive and non-competitive sporting activities in proper prospective.

Adult league Players and coaches are required to complete a Code of Conduct Form or the Team Roster/Sportsmanship Form (found in the team registration packet) before participating in the any adult sports program in Alexandria.

• Athletic Fields and Outdoor Courts may be reserved, and appropriate fees will be charged.
